We  invite you to join our organization.  This chapter of the Military Officers Association of America not only provides social activities for current and former officers and warrant officers of the uniformed services, but also has a community outreach  purpose.  Current members may use the join form for change of address and payment of dues.

 You are invited to get the chapter's monthly newsletter.  Please send your email address to support@suncoastmoaa.org so that you can begin receiving the newsletter by email.  You do not have to be a Chapter member to receive the email newsletter.

GENERAL MEETING:  (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CHAPTER MEMBER TO ATTEND OUR DINNERS AND OTHER EVENTS)

The General Meeting is held the 4th Tuesday of each month, except May through August & Dec.  May and December meetings are usually scheduled earlier in the month.  All members should attend, and guests are invited.  Most general  meetings are dinner meetings held at the Spartan Manor Restaurant, 6121 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey, Fl.  Social hour starts at 6 PM, and dinner is served at 7 PM. 

UPCOMING EVENTS:

OUR NEXT DINNER MEETING will be September 22nd. 
Show Palace Dinner Theater. We have made reservations to see "Fiddler on the Roof", Friday night, November 6, 2009. More information to follow.  We have reserved 40 seats for a really special price of $40 each.
Paddlewheel Boat Ride, January 17, 2010 - This boat ride on the Starlight Princes out of St. Pete Beach will include jazz music and lunch from a menu.  The cruise will leave about noon and will last 2 to 2 and one-half hours. The main cabin of the boat is enclosed, but the top deck is open.  Cost will be $35 each.  More information later.

JROTC Scholarship Awards.  Each year the Chapter presents a monetary award, a medal, and a certificate to a Junior ROTC cadet at seven high schools in the area.  The award recognizes leadership and academic achievements.  This year the Chapter is also presenting awards recognizing leadership achievements to cadets at several high schools for the Reserve Officers Association.  Awards in 2009 were in April and May.

Project Gratitude - Recently honored its latest chaplain returning from a war zone.
 

OFFICER'S WIVES CLUB:

The Officer's Wives Club meets the third Wednesday of each month (except May through August).  The meeting place is Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Avenue, New Port Richey, Florida.  The next meeting will be September 16th.  Social hour at 11:30, luncheon at 12.
