The Chapter's Junior ROTC and Reserve Officer
Association (ROA) Awards 
The Picture on the left
shows Chapter President Don Knutson , Cadet Craig Morocco of River Ridge HS, and
Chapter Officer Bob Wiggins as the Chapter’s JROTC award was presented to Cadet
Morocco by President Knutson. The picture on the right shows Don Knutson and
Cadet Taylor Watson of River Ridge HS as the ROA’s award was presented to Cadet
Watson by President Knutson. Each year the Chapter presents a monetary award, a
medal, and a certificate to a JROTC cadet at seven high schools in the area.
The award recognizes leadership and academic achievements. This year the
Chapter is also presenting awards recognizing leadership achievements to cadets
at several high schools for the ROA.
In addition to the awards pictured above (which
